Possessing a VSTEP English certificate helps bring many benefits to everyone's work and study. So, how to make sure you have a C1 English certificate? Take a look at some of our experiences below!

Some factors to improve English level C1

1. Improve vocabulary: At English level C1 requires learners to have a rich vocabulary. Therefore, in the process of preparing for the C1 exam, this factor should not be ignored. Some notes in the process of improving your vocabulary:

o Set a goal to learn how many words each day and take it seriously.

o Along with learning new words, you can learn through books and documents in English.

o Learn through flashcards.

o Write notes and cockroaches wherever they are most visible.

2. Improve writing skills: Test experience C1 for the test of writing a letter or a short story of about 100 words or more. Some suggestions for good writing skills are as follows:

o Along with learning vocabulary every day, you need to practice writing.

o Apply new vocabulary learned to write complete sentences, review common sentence structure.

o Try to express sentences in different ways, this will help you write better, understand how to use sentences better.

o Practice making an outline before you write to make sure your sentences are fluent and complete.

o Practice using a variety of tenses and sentence grammatical structures.

o Get in the habit of checking your writing after you're done

3. Practice listening often: You need to try regularly to practice listening and understanding English to facilitate natural reflexes. In your spare time, you can practice listening. Choose for yourself audio, video clips or good music and movies to help you prepare for the C1 English certification exam better.

Listening - Listening is considered by many candidates as the most difficult part of test C1. Practice listening reflexively, then you will find this part of the test much easier. Some notes for you to make the listening part better in this part are:

o Read the question carefully several times. Find out what the main keyword will ask about.

o Look closely at the pictures, find out the differences and keywords of each picture.

o Enhance communication with friends. You should always be confident to communicate with friends and teachers.

o Don't be afraid to interact with people to find out your mistakes. Avoid situations where self-doubt interferes with natural communication.

o Notes when communicating in English C1. Skip the grammar section. Practice speaking often. Listening a lot in English and increasing your vocabulary will help you to improve your speaking skills better.
