Recommended Curriculum

I. Pronunciation

Two of the most common accents in TOEIC exams are British accent and American accent.

The below textbooks are designed for elementary and intermediate levels. Pronunciation is especially important in speaking. This book provides students with pair-sound practices, and pronunciation exercises with single word, phrase, sentence, and paragraph. The books are recommended for all students, not just TOEIC learners.


II. Vocabulary

1. English Vocabulary in Use (Elementary – Intermediate – Advanced):

This is one of the most popular textbooks for TOEIC learners. With this textbook, students can explore and familiarize themselves with helpful vocabulary in various kinds of topics.

2. 600 fundamental vocabularies for TOEIC learners:

This textbook provides students with useful vocabularies tailored to the contexts of TOEIC exams.  

3. Learning 3420 TOEIC vocabularies with flashcards from elementary to advanced

This textbook consists of three parts:

III. Grammar

This textbook provides comprehensive grammar lessons from elementary to advanced. The lessons are designed in a user-friendly manner, suited for a majority of students. In addition to the theory, this textbook also offers assignments to enhance English syntax.
IV. TOEIC Reading + Listening

1. Easy TOEIC and TOEIC Starter

As their names imply, these two are for TOEIC beginners. These books are designed in a very user-friendly manner. 

2. Big Step 1, 2, 3:

This collection is for students aiming at bands 400 - 800+. What makes this collection special is the TOEIC simulating tests which are close to the real tests.

3. Tomato Intensive new TOEIC listening + reading

This collection provides practical TOEIC tips and simulating tests, designed for 30-day pre-test preparation. 

4. Barron's TOEIC 

This book is by one of the most well-known English textbook writers - Barron, who writes about TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL, etc. The material of this book is from his real experience in taking the TOEIC test. He will also share with you the strategies to pass the test with the highest score possible. 
V. TOEIC Speaking + Writing

1. Tomato TOEIC Speaking + Writing

This collection is by two Korean writers Kim Hyeonju and Lee Boyeong. It offers students with specialized studies and advice about TOEIC speaking and writing. 

 

TOEIC simulation tests are also included in these books with practical exercises presented thoroughly.

2. Skills for the TOEIC test Speaking and writing

This book is by Collins, one of the most popular English book publishers. Some key notes about the book:
