How to get IELTS Reading score 8.0

How to get IELTS Reading score 8.0

1. Effective time management
An important rule when solving IELTS Reading test is that you must know how to
manage your time, strictly dividing time for each task in the Reading section. In the
Cambridge books it is recommended that we spend a minimum of 20 minutes to
complete the reading test but in my experience, you should spend up to 15 minutes to
complete tasks 1 and 2 by skimming and 30 minutes to do task 3 because this is a task
that requires a lot of time.
b. Search for "keywords"
Don't spend too much time reading through difficult passages in task 3, instead, start
by reading the question and circling the main keywords. Then look for these keywords
in the article or synonyms in the passage because the answer will appear nearby.
c. Don't spend too much time thinking
One of the strategies that worked for me is "don't think too far" but focus on solving
the questions and "trust your intuition" because you won't have more time than 60
minutes to do the test. where. The reason I say this because I'm sure many of you will
often spend time thinking and analyzing problems. Even if you stop for a few seconds
to decide whether to choose True or False, you have spent a lot of time solving other
questions.
d. Learn from mistakes
Although we are often advised to practice, practice and practice a lot, but personally I
find that it doesn't make any sense if you don't learn anything from the sentences you
get wrong.
Comparing mistakes with correct answers will help you find out where you are going
wrong, from which to learn and improve your score will no longer be difficult for you.
