LANGUAGE COMMUNICATION - TOOLS FOR SUCCESS

LANGUAGE COMMUNICATION - TOOLS FOR SUCCESS

Hello friends!

Surely each of us understands the importance of communication skills in our daily lives and work. So what should we do to achieve high efficiency in communication and to become good communicators?

According to you, in addition to the very important factors of confidence, sociability, optimism and respect for yourself as well as respect for the other person, the content of the communication, the approach... the way we The language we use is also a very notable factor to achieve the best communication effectiveness.

There are things that I think are important, that you need to know about your voice such as: accent, voice volume, intonation, practice to have an expressive voice that easily leaves a good impression on the listener. and getting into people's hearts and the skills of listening to what the other person is saying.

We have also learned how to use body language appropriately and accurately and should learn more about body language signs to better understand our communication partners. What is not expressed is not expressed through words.

Today we will continue with notes and methods to develop communication skills through language skills during communication. Perhaps for us language is something obvious, an inevitable part of life. Obviously for human life.

I can confidently say that, without language, people could not have the life they have today and become more and more developed in the future. It can be said that language is a priceless gift that nature has given to humans, helping humans become the highest level animals in the animal world, having the most developed and best life. We would be no different from other animals if we did not have language, the most effective means of communication, the most important means of storing, transmitting and exchanging information.
Therefore, it can be said that language is the most important communication tool and the optimal weapon in debate activities. Because whoever has better language skills will naturally win. The clearest evidence for this is the results of elections in Western countries where the winning candidates are those who can convince the most voters to vote for them. And what do they convince voters with? That is the language.

So, to communicate better, you need to know how to use language better.

First and most important to be able to use the language well is that you must be fluent in the language. You can't express what you want to convey if you don't know what words and sentences to use to express an idea, right? Sometimes we think that it's natural for us to be fluent in our native language. But in my opinion, perhaps there is a misunderstanding here. Being fluent and fluent means you only use language to speak, but using language accurately and effectively is a completely different thing. Listen to the following two sentences from a mother when telling her child: "Don't run." You have to go with me” and “Let's walk too, mom. That way both mother and child will be happier." Are their effects the same? What will be the child's reaction to each statement? That is my proof that knowing how to use language and knowing how to use language fluently does not mean using language effectively.

Using language effectively means knowing what to say, how to say it to whom, when and where. You must determine who you are targeting. At home, you can't talk to your parents the way you talk to your children. Out in society, you can't talk to your boss the way you talk to your best friend. For each person you must have a different way of speaking, a different intonation, the words used must be different, the voice must also be different, only then can you achieve the minimum score in communication.
