1. To be over the moon/ To be on cloud 9 

These idioms are commonly used to describe someone who is extremely happy or excited.

For example:

"Was Helen pleased about getting that job?" 

"Pleased? She was on cloud nine!".

2. Make somebody’s day

This idiom means to make someone feel happy on a particular day.

For example:

      3. Music to one’s ears

           This common idiom is widely used when one would like to describe something     

           that is pleasant or gratifying to hear or discover. Let’s take a look at the
